Cochrane schools are part of the Rocky View School Division and the Calgary Catholic School District. For those interested in homeschooling, the Cochrane Home Educators network is active in the community. A total of eight elementary schools service Cochrane, including one offering French immersion, two Catholic schools, and one francophone school. There is also a middle school with French immersion and three high schools, one of which continues with French immersion while another is part of the Catholic division. Religious instruction programming is available within these schools.
Situated south of Highway 1A and west of Highway 22, West Terrace is nestled between West Point and West Valley. This quiet neighborhood borders the Bow River, featuring a path system that leads to Mitford Park, Riverfront Park, West Rock Fields, Riverview Circle, across the Bow River to Bow Ridge, or all the way east to Gleneagles and Riversong. Residents can enjoy the tranquility of the Bow River, stunning Rocky Mountain views, and amazing sunsets in beautiful West Terrace!
